1) I will be having a CNY party! This means cooking a lot of things I’ve never cooked before! Like Chinese-style roast chicken and whole steamed fish. Which is fun, yes, but also slightly terrifying. Also, I don’t know if you know this, but I’m horrifyingly non-Chinese in a lot of ways. Like, I don’t speak the language and I couldn’t tell you the significance of most cultural norms. In other words, I’m your typical American ignoramus for the most part.

2) This week will be hella busy at work! I’m producing TWO episodes of Before You Buy (uh, shameless plug), and getting all kinds of stuff ready for Live! with Kelly (why yes, THAT Live! with Kelly. I’m going to meet Kelly Ripa. OMG you guys.) Oh, also, apparently I’m going to iWorld/Macworld on Thursday. Just, you know, to make things even busier for myself.

3) I’ll be flying out to New York next week in the dead of winter! I have no winter clothes! So that means I’ll have to go buy stuff! And did I mention apparently I’m going to be behind the scenes of Live! with Kelly?

4) Staying at the Ace! Boo-yah!

5) Oh and February 12th is my anniversary with Brandon and we’re staying the night at the Fairmont in SF because hello, Tonga Room.

The year of the dragon is proving to be awesome and will probably kill me.
